Description:
Atlas PT excels in Manual Therapy and TMJ Dysfunction treatments. No one in the area compares to the treatment you will receive with the practice.
We are passionate and motivated for your results. We are optimistic; where others see pathology, we see obstacles to overcome. In order to support your return to optimal health, you will spend every visit with your physical therapist to receive the maximal benefit. We don’t use therapy aides.
You will be given the dignity of receiving treatment in a private treatment room in a spa like environment utilizing evidence based manual/hands on therapy and therapeutic exercise.
You will be educated on your condition or injury and be given handouts of relevant anatomy in order to facilitate understanding of treatment and to alleviate your worries. We teach you to heal yourself; we want you to be in control of your own recovery.

Certified Manual Physical Therapy
Skilled manual therapy combined with a targeted exercises will help you to feel and move better faster. Manual physical therapy refers to advanced hands on treatment to improve mobility of joints, muscles, other connective tissues. Jake has earned an advanced certification in manual physical therapy requiring years of post degree training and rigorous testing.
TMJ Dysfunction
Physical Therapy is extremely effective in reducing Temporal Mandibular Joint (TMJ) symptoms and associated neck pain and headaches. Most patients have significant relief after the very first visit and can become independent in preventing and managing their own symptoms. Physical therapy can restore mobility, reduce or eliminate pain without medication (and it’s side effects) and provide an alternative to painful and expensive surgery. Read more.
Speed School
Improve your speed, agility, vertical leap, and athletic explosiveness. We will assess your risk for injury and for gaps in your athletic ability and then create a personalized exercise program for you. You will train on the same equipment that professional athletes and navy seals use to improve their power and explosiveness. You will gain a higher vertical leap, faster acceleration and be less prone to injury.
Womens Health
You don’t have to suffer through all pregnancy related pain. Many women suffer from pelvic joint instability and pain during and after pregnancy. Sometimes, Kegel exercises alone are not enough to solve the problem. Manual physical therapy is non invasive and very effective in reducing muscle tension and restoring pelvic joint mechanics to relieve stress and pain. Learning the right body mechanics can also help you to remain functional late into your pregnancy.
Occupational Rehabilitation
Get back to work faster after your injury through an active program of hands on techniques and targeted exercises advanced at your pace. We offer extended office hours to accommodate the “working wounded.”
Postoperative Rehabilitation
You will have a faster, stronger recovery following surgery when you work only with the same licensed physical therapist every visit. Every individual responds a little differently after a surgery and each visit needs to be adapted to your needs that day. We believe continuity of care is extremely important. Your results will not be good if you are seen by a host of different therapists and treatment consists of being supervised primarily by an aide while they check boxes on a list as you complete generalized exercise routines.
